Tell me Ron where do you draw the line if at all? Do you think we can grow our numbers forever? How many is too many? ten billion ,twenty ,a hundred ,a trillion what?? People like you really amuse me. Your argument [if there was one ] clearly could be used at any number couldn't it? <<Save the earth at any cost,>> Gee, I don't think limiting each family to two children is all that drastic is it? Only a fool would think that this won't come sooner or later. Even by your standards some day there will be too many people on the planet if we keep growing our numbers,no? Then we will be forced to do so unless environmental disaster comes along and wipes a few billion of us out at a shot. The numbers are there . If you want to bury your head in the sand that's up to you.After all you don't want to feel guilty about those five children now do you? <<But doesn't Nature pollute just a horrendously??>>.....Shades of Ronald Reagan..... Yeah right trees cause pollution and the planet is better off with out the rain forest. And since we get a volcanic eruption every now and then we may as well beat nature to the punch and get all we can for our selves. Guess what? Soon China will bring her teeming millions [Over a billion now] into the twentieth century and they will do it with coal!The third world is not going to stand by and allow the now developed nations have all the goodies. They want their share and they will not be denied! But I know,not to bother you with unpleasant facts. The point is simply that the whole world can't live our life style with it's current population. Either reduce the numbers or the life style. Take your pick. Stick around for another fifty years it should be .........verrry interesting. pez
