Thanks for the book links Why don't more people consider using a human broker? I phone my guy, who sits in front of a VCT and CATS machine and it blasts right through every time? In a fast trading market or for really important trades I'm the first one on the phone. Webbroker and other online Canadian systems are still a little to flaky to be trusted all the time and the time delay is still unpredictable. However I still like Webbroker over a person most of the time. Saying I'm watching a stock and just waiting to pull the trigger on a sign of a turn around. I can have everything entered but the price. The second it get to my range I just have to press enter. Its like keeping you broker on the phone all day long. In the next year or two as online trading improves by leaps and bounds this approach will be my soul way of trading. Of course in the U.S they are already ahead by leaps and bounds with the ECN connections but they are unavaiable to me in Winnipeg. And my commish is as low or lower than most discount houses because I can put all the trades for the same side same symbol (but different price) on the same ticket. I couldn't find any brokers that would give me commissions even close to a discount houses. Could you give me a rough idea what you commission fees are and who you deal with? In addition, every discount house I have delt with allows all trades for the same side same symbol (but different prices) on the same ticket. Best Regards KEITH
