Don't post here much, and don't agree with your analysis of the Aber/Winspear lawsuit. However you are entirely correct on the banana republic comment. The Inco fiasco in NFLD is another example. The answer for mining companies is quite simple - stay away from Canada. In fact the statistics regarding exploration and development dollars being spent in Canada as opposed to elsewhere are quite startling in this regard. As for myself, I have a few shares in Aber. I have made a solemn oath that once the Aber story plays itself out I will never again invest in a mining company with the bulk of its properties in Canada.
