I assume that he's not aware that many y2k/IT body shops have been using y2k to get their foot in the door for the past 3+ years and have acutally made a profit on the y2k jobs and posted quarter over quarter growth in earnings to boot. y2k need not be/was not a "loss leader" for any company that knows/knew what it was doing.
