Read AC Thread.

I do not think you will be able to accumulate at $6.50.

My Bet is There will be positive price movement this week.
It is getting too close to discovery time for both AC and CA.

Also read in a local paper today that Westjet will add
two more aircraft to the western markets---This can only
devestate the little hope Canadian has to survive.

Quoting news release:

Westjet is adding two Boeing 737 to bring its total fleet to 11 aircraft by mid-July. That will enable the airline to increase service to 555 flight per week, a 21% capacity boost. For the summer months, Winnipeg will see an increase to 27 flights a week from 22. There will be four daily departures--three non-stop to Calgary and one non-stop to Saskatoon, with connections to Victoria, Vancouver, Abbotsford/Fraser Valley, Price George, Kelowna and Edmonton.

My Comments:

--At one time a CEO at Air Canada I think his name was Harris-stated that Air Canada wanted to set up a poweful Hub in Calgary. If AC synergizes its resourses with Westjet as planned well I can see that dream happening--another powerful Western Hub happen. Also if AC and Westjet work together-it may allow AC to redeploy some of their aircraft to more profitable markets.

Actually I am very excited about this happening--But I still voted against all the directors as I believe Shareholders have taken a pounding that is undeserved.

Also Today I watched the F1 races and also the Mens curling championship and All I saw Was AIR Canada advertising--GOOD ADS..

No I think you"ll have to accumulate Above $6.70--Well hoping you will.
