Imran,

Nice to see others working on the weekend.

Conventional services such as Mobitex, Ardis, CPDD and data over regular cellular phones are currently available in different parts of North America. They provide much slower services than the leading-edge networks that are based on Wi-LAN's products. The difference is as much as one thousand times (2400bps vs 4.5Mbps). It is difficult and expensive to use any of the conventional services to effectively browse the Internet. Newer services such as third generation cellular telephones (3G) will provide acceptable speeds at a cost that is yet to be determined.

As I mentioned before we are working on higher speeds (30Mbps) that will increase our competitive advantage even more. It is difficult to know exactly how much lead we have but with a key patent on W-OFDM (which is the most desired technology for high speed networking), we believe that we have a great advantage over all competitors, big and small.
