If you don't like Dell's prospects, and feel like placing your money where your mouth is, go for it. :-)
Just don't expect to get wealthy betting against the company which is the least cost producer with the highest ASPs and the best growth rate in the industry.
Is there some reason why you don't present your nonsense on the Dell thread? e.g. - there are far fewer knowledgeable people over here. Go post some crap to Chuzzlewitt and see how long it takes before facts get boomeranged right back to you.
Dell has never targeted first time buyers of PCs for its growth.
And when the poor guinea pigs who take the freebies or the $400 specials without a floppy, without a CDrom or DVD device, with minimal memory, with no monitor or some lousy resolution unsaleable piece of crap, without sufficient software to exchange information with their buddies or do basic home computing, etc., my guess is that Dell will be there to handle their upgrade.
When the bargain seekers start paying $20 / minute for support, they'll soon appreciate the value of Dell's 1 year / unlimited / next business day / onsite repair; or the 3Yr warantee for a slight extra charge.
And for you to take a shot at Laszlo, utterly ridiculous. LB has a habit of being right even when going against the crowd. You, on the other hand, can't recognize a top class thoroughbred when it's 30 lengths in front of the field less than a furlong from the finish line.
