All I am saying is that there are warning signs all over the place and it seems like most people are ignoring them. It is your choice to put money where you want just remember one thing "past performances do not guarantee future returns".

As to Peter Lynch I am absolutely sure that he warned about falling in love with a stock. Computer business has changed tremendously, never in history have we seen computers priced below $500. To believe that this will not effect DELL business is just plain denial of facts.

I would want to know how the direct channel can compete with the low priced computer at retail? When computers were sold at $2000 or $3000 it made more sense to buy directly since it would amount to large savings on sales tax about $160 to $240 some of the savings decreased due to shipping. With $600 o$1000 computer prices it is cheaper to buy from local retailer with sales tax than pay shipping.
How will DELL overcome this disadvantage of the direct model to the consumer?
