Rande: Once again thanks for your approach to this thread. I like the way you welcome all new investors and respond as best as you can to all posters. You have an admirable ability to ignore hype and only respond when hypsters cross the line and take advantage. This is fast becoming my favorite thread to read. Good work!
I have some questions for you. Respond if and when you have time.
Did you see the article in Fridays USA Today on a new way to transmit digital signals? Any thoughts?
I printed your list of broadbands so I can research over the next few days. Thank you! This is a stupid question, but what exactly is "broadband"? I think it is a way to transmit more than one type of signal at a time, allowing for more data to travel faster.
Regarding CPQ: It would seem to be to be a buy if it gets below $25. I tend to like the small cap stocks, but I did buy HP last year when it got down to $48 as I knew it had to go back up. It would seem to be the same for CPQ @$25. Can it really fall much further?
I was interested to see you looking at USTI for a penny play on the fishing thread. I did some initial DD, but it seems as there is some recent dilution. Does that change your opinion? If not, what is a good entry point?
It is a sunny, gorgeous late afternoon in the Pacific NW (rare for this time of year). I just lit the new BBQ (a bigger BBQ than one man should admit to - but paid for by recent investments). Glad to be alive!
Thanks again for the knowledgeable, decent way this thread is managed. I know you are busy and understand if you cannot respond until later.
