Ahhhh, Fred, you are equating quantity with quality. All players in a field are not created equal. ASND, COMS, and CSCO, for instance, all compete in the networking area, yet Wall Street does not view each company as equal; hence, the difference in valuation multiples. Quantity, versus quality, Fred, there is a difference.
