You said in relation to Lev.

stuff like
putting women in ritual baths due to menstruation and all is not part of Christianity. I
can't explain why.

Rituals and all blood sacrifices were done away with when Chris atoned for our sins.

The laws were not, and neither were many statutes.

Once ever year the priest of the Israelites would offer up an unblemished calf, the first born. After many particular rituals being performed, and very specifically clothing being worn right down to the fabric, and only by a highly anointed and specific priest of God, he would then go to tabernacle of the congregation to offer up repentance for the sins of the Israelites.

But now we have Chris who has atoned for all the sins of the world. We need no high priest.... other than Him. He is our intercessor. There is only one man between God and us...the man Chris† Jesus.
And that is what the OT was leading up to. God was preparing the people for The Coming of Jesus. No more are the blood rituals any worth. But the law is still in effect. It cannot save us, only the blood of Jesus can do that, but the law must still be obeyed. It is still is not legal to steal, murder, lie, commit adultery, covet our neighbors goods etc, etc...

Have a good evening
Shalom...><>
