CPQ has abyssimal customer satisfaction ratings. A storm blew the modem on my Dell and a new one was installed before noon the next day. When my son Vincent's wife became pregnant for the first time I bought them a Suburban, saying that no grandbabies of mine would ride Atlanta traffic in a Kleenex box. Years later Valerie was 3 days from delivering #4 when she was broadsided. 3 children with her but there was no injury to my family, the Suburban was repairable, the other car was DESTROYED.
Now, Stefan, explain to me the great advantages in gas mileage and cost savings we would have experienced had I bought her a Yugo. Factor in the price of some funerals, too. Often, the best is the Cheapest!
I doubt you understand the valu of QUALITY, and have little sense of the singularity Michael Dell achieved in getting a 25,000 multinational work force to make the finest products on the planet! You can argue a year, but Dell is eating everybody's breakfast, lunch and dinner because they deserve to, Dell is worth the price! Ask K-Mart, Ford and the US Air Force!
And Stefan, next time you go perch fishing don't call me, OK?
