You are quite right. I don't know anybody who has bought a brand name computer. All my friends and I build our own computers, and for those who don't know enough to do so there are always the people at the store or another friend to help you do that. But I don't think that alone is the reason for CPQ's latest news. There is an industry wide squeeze in the computer hardware sector. Emachines, although new is an example of those putting such pressure.
