In the 386 days, AMD had about 30% market share, their 386-40 was faster than Intel's best (33 MHz). Plus they were PROFITABLE ! So today, they are BEHIND Intel in performance, their market share is about 16% (NOT the 20% you claim) and they are losing money faster than a drunken sailor in port on a Saturday night. Paul
