Tim, despite all the 'good news', Michael Dell gave an earnings warning at the analyst meeting. He basicly said forget any whisper numbers ... we are looking to meet estimates. With twenty days still to go in the last month of the qtr .... I feel that is a telling statement ...(yes, I know many of these companies play the game) ... and whilst there might be a trade or two ... and M. Dell will create news to prop-up the stock price, I wouldn't advise anyone to go long Dell as an investment. I think the writing's on the wall ... and despite their suprior business model, anyone who ignores it is taking a bigger risk than the likely reward as far as the box makers are concerned. JMHO Stephen
