Update:

My incision from the first surgery two weeks ago is still open and now my doc apparently is admitting that it needs more attention than is reasonable for a ham-fisted guy like me to do at home. I am now going to the hospital everyday for a whirpool bath and "repacking" of the wound. I've had something of a downer day, I keep trying to stretch that envelope of physical limitations and everytime I end up paying for it. I don't recall if I told the story here about climing around in the attic and being stung by a scorpion on Friday (or was it Sat., who knows?) but now it seems that I am having an allergic reaction to the antibiotics, got hives and various skin problems from it. I called the doc today and he said "Hell, why don't you just move in up here", I *thought* about saying, "Hell, why don't you go back to medical school and learn your f-ing (showing restraint) trade and put some damn drains in the next guy and *SAVE* him and yourself this considerable "inconvenience".Jeez...so, I haven't done much except lay around today, hoping that will reduce some of this ongoing "inconvenience" for all concerned. I think I did piss him off a little today though when I was in his office....he was setting me up for the hospital "wound care" and I said in a very loud voice, "Yeah, tell em another one of (doc's first name)'s gunshot wound victims is on the way over. Ha, ha....big yuks on my part.

But what of that....
