Tim:

What top management of CPQ has done are both unethical (selling after announcing bullish condition in January causing the runup in the stock) and bordering illegal. "....Could they possibly be short the market....?" Who knows what their intentions are, but one thing for sure, they could have announced it on Wednesday (or earlier) before Dell's analysts meeting in New York. But at the end, EP and EM will be booted out.

On the positive side, we are looking at the glass half full. As of this writing, Globex futures are down less than 2 %, even NASDAQ100 june is "onl" down 43.5 (from 49.5 rlier today), Asian markets are mixed, with HK down only 1.4% (from 2.8% earlie), Singapore on the plus side. Maybe the market has discovered that CPQ problem is that of an execution and not overall PC market which remains healthy. Anymore execution will be that of EP and EM.

I won't be surprised if we end up positive come Monday closing time.

Paul
