Bloomberg and the WSJ are giving big play to unsurprising news: Disney is considering hiving off its Disney Online group and somehow combining it with Infoseek. The idea? Create a new, powerhouse publicly-traded Internet company. The sole road block -- and one under negotiations -- is the stand-still agreement with Infoseek that prevents Disney from taking more than 43% before 2001.
