Ron (Kline): Excellent post. The key to smart investing is to listen to what the market is telling you, not what the various analysts, soothsayers and gloom-and-doomers are spouting. How many years have morons like Barton Biggs been howling that the market is overvalued and we are at the precipice of a bear market? How many years have we been hearing that the small caps stocks are poised for a correction and will soon take over market leadership? And how about those financial planners and portfolio managers who say that you should have 15 to 20% of your portfolio in international stocks, including emerging market exposure? What a joke!! This is not to say that thing may not or will not change; but, in the here and now, the market is saying that you should be heavily weighted in large-cap technology stocks with some internet exposure. IMHO.
