Yeah, I agree. CPQ did this same crap last year. Cram the channel to have a good christmas quarter and then they spent the rest of the year managing inventory. Then, last year, when they warned after the christmas quarter, they tried to take the whole sector down with their stock by saying that Asia would kill everybody. I remeber DELL coming out the next day and saying there quarter was going fine so that their stock would not suffer to bad.

Well here we are again, about 2 months ago, 5er was strutting around like a rooster talking about how they were eating into DELL's profits and what a good quarter they had. And 1 quarter later they are going to miss the estimate by half. And then try and drag down the whole industry by saying it was price competition. I agree some of it was price pressure, but I think most of it is that CPQ is losing a ton of business to DELL.

I wonder if 5er and Clinton are related? I believe both of them about the same amount (0%). It pisses me off when 5er tries to keep everyone from selling his terd stock by talking down other stocks. I guess he is trying to say why sell CPQ if DELL and everyone else is going to suffer the same problems. Even if DEL and GTW had bad quarters, I know they would not miss by 50%.

CPQ should change their ticker from CPQ to LOSER.
