One thing that noone can deny is that Slob Milosevic is a vicious, greedy, power hungry
dictator that doesn't care what, or how many he destroys. He is the second coming of
Hitler.
Actually, one can deny that. Hitler and SM are VERY different.
Hitler was interested in world conquest; Milosovic "merely" wants to keep control of one country, and has at no time expressed any interest in conquest beyond Yugoslavia's borders. If all Albanians voluntarily left "his" country, if the KLA all left, if Yugoslavia was populated entirely by serbs and there were no rebel military force, SM would be completely satisfied.
Hitler never faced a civil war against his elected government initiated by a military force of Jews or other minorities armed by outside countries, including to some extent by the U.S. Until the war broke out, Hitler was at all times the agressor, never a defender.
Hitler declared himself part of a "master race" destined by history to rule the world. There's no evidence that SM sees Slavs in the same way; rather, he wants "his" country for Slavs and seems quite content to let others live elsewhere.
Hitler's final solution was the death of all jews. If SM had really wanted to kill all Albanians, he could have done a much more effective job of it. A few artillery shells in those masses of fleeing refugees would have been his equivalent of the gas chambers. But they never fell.
Yes, SM is vicious. Yes, his actions violate all standards of decency. (So, btw, do ours.) Whether he is more of a dictator than Clinton or Blair is open to discussion. I understand that he was democratically elected. Anybody able to refute this?
But the second coming of Hitler he is NOT, however much CNN may try to paint him as black as it can. |
