Marcos - Just to correct you on a few points since you obviously didn't read my earlier postings.
1) You never said old growth forests, I did in an earlier post. You then responded that forests grow back in 30 years, but since I said old growth then I assumed that that was what you were responding to.
2) I didn't jump on Lorne for being American, I just pointed out that Americans tend to know nothing about Canada. His posting made that quite clear. Roughly 75% of my relatives are American and I have spent considerable time there.
3) You know nothing about my politics. You and teevee are obviously from the old school of political debate. If someone disagrees with you then they must be communist or fascist or some other terrible scourge.
4) Your comment about buying stocks in Mexico where there are no environmental laws or Indians to deal with is quite frankly disgusting. There are Indians to deal with in Mexico it's just that they have no rights, just as you like it. See Chiapas if you need a liitle refresher.
5) You're a dinosaur my friend. The world can't be run the same way it was in your day. Today we can see what the previous generations have wrought and it's time to pay the piper. There are things like civil rights and the environment to worry about now. I realize that you think it's okay to participate in the figurative rape of another country but some of us have crawled out of the mud that you're so firmly entrenched in.
