I* revised handset/minutes prices (via I* yahoo thread) Top>Business and Finance>Stocks>Services>Communications Services>IRID (Iridium World Comm. Ltd.) Just released this evening.... by: allwayslong 10447 of 10462 On the Dow Jones News....04/12/99 Column entitled "Trading Places" it is reported that IRID management met with analysts at Chase Securities and informed them that the IRID phone price had now been reduced in the U.S. from $3,000 to $2,300, and that the actual dollar usuage per minute is now $2.40 per minute, as oppossed to $2.10. They also reaffirmed Motorola's intentions to stand behind IRID financially. Lastly, to set the question straight once and for all, the current market capitalization of IRID is now 2.7 billion dollars...(their figures not mine)...All in all a positive overview!
