I had along talk with the head of the fuel cell division of GLE this morning. Hopefully I will represent all of the information that he gave accurately;
1)They now have a fuel cell technology that is considered leading edge! They have managed to reduce the heat generated by about 30% which apparently is an incredible breakthrough. The europeans are very impressed.

2) I asked for a comparison with Ballard. Ballards fuelcell is a PEM, Pems can't take impurities, apparently they breakdown, they also can't use gas. GLE's is impervious to typical impurities and can use gasoline.

3)I asked fo a "one on one" comparison to a ballard fuel cell. Here is what he said. A ballard fuel cell is twice as big and generates half the power. A GLE fuel cell that is 1/2 the size of ballards and generates 2 x the power is 5 inch x 5 inch x 8 inch. The fuel cell will burn natural gas at a 95% efficiency (approx 65% is generated electricity and 30% is heat!) generates 2KW of power and 600 Cesluis heat.
A larger fuel cell could not only heat your house but produce its own electricity for your home!!! They could literally augment your furnace and hot water heater and replace your electrical utility!
There markets are many, but apparently telecommunications is a ready and waiting market of $2 billion. Remote cell phone transmitter towers is just an example!!

I have not read this thread at all, I will take the time in the next few days! I just thought you might be interested in what I had found out. if its old news just hit "next"!!
