Suing --- Apparently that is in the business model too. According to the NYTimes some $.48 of every trade at one of Etrade's $8 competitors is set aside for lawsuits and settling bad trades due to computer and or other failures. About the same amount as profits of $.58. That tells you what you are into. ================== Makes me wonder how much Etrade had to set aside for all of those outages this quarter.
