Michael, how do you get this: Negative EPS overstate the index's trailing P/E by only around 10%. Do you have an easy source for calculating this information?

Besides, why exclude losses? The reason is that I want to use the S&P500 PEG to normalize the PEG for growth stocks. Since stocks with near break-even or negative earnings will distort the P/E, they will distort CNPEG by making prospective stocks look better on a relative valuation basis than they really are.
