El,

I couldn't get into SI for some reason the past two days, and I really missed seeing what all of you folks thought about this latest CPQ debacle.

My heart goes out to anyone who is underwater now, I myself am underneath by about $12K, and I'm not a rich person by any means. This really hurts our net worth, but what can you do about it now. Nothing, except sit tight or take the loss. I for one will not take the loss because I don't need the money, nor do I have confidence in my ability to invest my way out of this hole.

I doubt there's a soul on this thread (other than true longs) who don't regret not having sold at $50 on 1/27. But you know what, IT IS WHAT IT IS! What would each of us do differently next time? I'm sure we'll all behave differently in the future because of this.

With this latest CPQ tragedy, I've decided to just ignore the stock for a few months and not even check into the thread. I will honestly miss it, because I think the regulars on this thread are a truly wonderful group of people.

My best wishes for better luck in the days ahead to all of the CPQ thread regulars (e.g., you, PCSS, Victor, Kenya, Riechers, Night Writer, rudedog, robbie, Jimbo, JDN, and many more), and to the many lurkers as well.

Regards,

JMaz
