"t will help Pepsi greatly when they get rid of the restaurant business and can start knocking on McDonalds, Hardees, Burger King, etc, doors. If Pepsi can get into some of the major fast food places and be looked at as a supplier instead of a competitor it should help greatly!"

Well said. That is the business plan. I was recently in Disney for several days. In all of Disney, there were over 20,000 in the theme parks and MGM studios every day. The only soft drink available was Coke products. ($2.00 for a 20 ozs. bottle, mind you). Pepsi wants to get into these type of arenas also. When, not if, they become a soft drink comapny only, they will have a chance to do so. Then, PEP should experience rising sales.

This is the goal. They must pull it off if they are to ever get mentioned in the same breath as Coke. I believe the street gives them a chance, although it will be a long, hard, difficult journey.
