Motorola becomes NFL sponsor

NEW YORK—Motorola Inc. announced it entered into a three-year
contract with the National Football League to become its official wireless
communications sponsor.

Terms of the contract include display of the Motorola brand on coach's
headsets, use of all league and club trademarks by Motorola to promote
wireless equipment and sponsorship of the NFL Quarterback Club, NFL
Coaches Club and NFL Experience.

In addition to the cellular phones, pagers and two-way radios the
company already provides the NFL coaching staffs and league offices,
Motorola said it also has the right to develop a new wireless
communication system for use by NFL coaches during games.
