I might have said, a long time ago, that I am a spreadsheet guy. I don't do any of those programs that you mentioned. I have tried Quicken several times...but I hate bending my mind to use a package's model...I prefer to establish my own model and make a spreadsheet. I keep a spreadsheet going all year long with my trades. I put down basis when I initiate and highlight it in yellow when I get the confirmation. So I know where I am. I also turn over my information at year end to a cpa...
