Yes, you do use the vertical which in this case, is useless. Being an internet I'm not surprised.

Remember, you are supposed to use the first column of X's after the last sell signal. MSGI's last sell signal was at 3.25. The count doesn't work at all from here 'cause it went way way way way past it.
7 (total number of X's after that sell signal) x 3 divided by .5 (box size) = a ridiculous 16.75.

In this case, you are dealing with an animal. I'd go by nice entries with good risk reward stops.
