Do you give any credence to the blowoff theory? Yes, we all lose money and then we blowoff steam about it on si. <g> Well first of all, I want to step back and say what a nice thread you have here and how friendly everyone is. I feel flattered that I am getting bunches of questions, and I will give them my best shot...but I feel like I should have "bwdik" wallpaper surrounding my posts. Certainly folks have experience they can share, but those that act like they have the all the answers are either liars or self-deceivers.... Well, yes I believe in blowoffs...One thing I would do is make a real world test of stock market logic in many situations. Ever seen a frenzy in real life? Ever see everyone and their brother just have to have whatever the latest toy is for Christmas and be willing to pay any price for it? ===== As far as amat, what are you thinking about tomorrow night's intc earnings/conference call impacting amat? Myth thread folks think intc will likely hit the number but that forward looking statements might not be so rosy given all the problems in the pc channel and the tough price competition with amd. bwdik bwdik bwdik bwdik....... ;-)
