I only have one Wintel machine which is a DELL laptop running Windows 95. The prcessor is a Pentium II 266 Mhz. I added some software and received an error while doing so. During bootup now, a DOS prompt comes up that states:
"Specify comman Search Directory is Bad" I am really a Mac person. Is there a simple fix to this? Windows continues to load and all applications work fine. I will take any hellp offered<G> I am trying scan disk now but I suspect that will not do it.

Thank you.
