I think it was more of the Asian flu cause that is were the reports stated the shortfall was.

I see, did Inprise just announced another share buy-back, too? Or was that interpretation the result of some heretofore unknown form of Dyslexia on your part? You see, you have no credibility left and by parroting the Asian Economic Flu story you are eroding it even further. How many IT development projects were just dropped because of the AEF and how many decided simply to go forward on a limited basis without any tools? Did they dust off the flowchart templates or just make copies of the tools without paying for them?

The AEF was being used for months before 'ol Del pulled that one out of his hat. He knew there would be legions of TTOSBTs who would buy it, he was right. I wonder if he knew that by announcing the completion of a share buy-back the share price would get a bounce driven by those with poor reading comprehension? You're really reaching.
