Especially for a company the size of Compaq in the high-tech industry. I think that DEC acquisition is going to be like cancer for them until they start laying people off and cutting costs like crazy - much like DEC did every six months or so.>>

Rich: DELL is need of more talent to expand their operations in Texas and around the world...CPQ's problems will create great opportunities for DELL. Which company would you like to work for?? Which company could grant you stock options that would really become valuable 5 years from now?? Which company has visionary leadership??...IMO, DELL may attempt to hire the best CPQ employees as soon as they can get them.
