To The Thread, I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and found out MRVC was up over two points on a big volume. I went out to many sites looking for the reason why, but I could not find any news. All I found was a small piece of reporting by Briefing: "MRV Communications (MRVC 8 11/16 +2 5/16) surged 36% on nearly 10x average volume... No news but sure smells like takeover speculation. " Now, does this move mean a long protracted depressed stock price period is over? (I know about MRVC's investments into new startups, new product announcements back in February by MRVC and its associated companies, and recently, I did see the article in EE Times.) I can speculate, but I am usually wrong, so... Anyway, does anyone know about takeover speculation? I thought MRVC's insiders hold way too much shares and they do not want to sell at this historically low price. Yong
