Ciao/
There are no harmful emissions from the Ballard (PEM) cell because is uses pure hydrogen as its energy source, and produces pure water as an exhaust. In GLE's (SOF) cell, methane is the fuel source, with CO2 and water as the exhaust.

When the company says it has essentially no harmful emissions, they don't mean absolutely no harmful emissions. There are very minor amounts of CO, etc., but they are nowhere near as high as from natural gas burned in a piston engine.

Ciao,
Andrew
