David, I feel they are on a more mature curve and are not improving as quickly as the new technologies. As a result they have paid costs to service and are getting eaten by them. These fixed costs mean they can never get ahead of the new techs, ever. Motorola implemented the technology too early. Those that waited benefited and will win in the long run.
