Tim, you are absolutely correct in that the stock is worth what someone will pay for it ... As for the tender offer press release, that was the straw that finally broke this particular camels back .... it was one of many, in my opinion, intended to deceive people to buy the stock & boost the price so that the CEO & co could sell some shares like they always did. The $1.50 was a tender offer from the subsidiary to the parent ... with essentially the same management team and Michael Gambon (or whatever his name is) no doubt signing the offer and addressing it to himself (GG). As it was the fourth time I had seen such shenanagins followed by insider sales I tried to contact the company. The address is a suite here in San Francisco and the IR person was a lonely girl who answered the phone who knew nothing..... In my mind I pictured MG by his swimming pool, and though I left him phone messages at his alternative off site number, I guess the question was too embaressing for him to answer as I couldn't get him to return my calls ... None of this matters because it is a good trade ... and at the end of the day, as you say, its worth what someone else will pay for it. As for the site, it was fine 6 months or so ago and they even sent me a regular health report for a time.... or should I say linked me to another site that e-mailed it to me. Again ... none of this matters a tad, as it is in play .... but don't be fooled by the $1.50 tender offer ... after the initial excitement I checked it out and was not a happy camper !!
