Chuzz: This evening I was talking with a classmate who is in charge of purchasing over $ 1/2 billion of supplies for INTC factories....He said that INTEL is VERY upset with CPQ -- they are buying more and more of the AMD chips. INTEL clearly views DELL as their major customer to grow with in the future. These companies have a VERY close working relationship and A LOT of TRUST. IMHO, this will pay off as DELL increasingly ramps up in the NT Server markets and has new INTEL product needs going forward. DELL is a preferred customer and gets THE BEST treatment. What I heard from my friend verified what MSD and his team are trying to accomplish with their virtual integration model. DELL loves to partner with everyone -- suppliers, customers, and even shareholders <GG>...On the other hand CPQ has proven that they can antagonize all of their key stakeholders.

Best Regards,

Scott
