I have a coleman 3500 but it couldn't run everything in my 'computer room'...so I have the 8.5KW one which should do the trick. Gonna take my 3500 up to my 'bugout' location up in the woods. I needed the backup generator for my home-based computer business anyway...so it was easily justifiable even without Y2K concerns. We had a storm come through here about 3 years ago which left us without power for 3 days...can't afford this. My philosophy of Y2K preparation is that we should be prepared anyway...for any temporary problems...Y2K just gives me a good reason...<bobr>
