Upstream speed was limited because of cable's predominently simplex in nature. ADSL was in the wings. Many have thought XDSL will rule and still think so. Cable/broadband is gaining respect and momentum daily. All my friends have used it and love it. I can't wait to get mine. ATHM is in an excellent position. Congress will not act any time soon in favor of AOL IMO. They are the monopoly.
