Austin, Texas (Dow Jones) Ross Technology, Inc.s (RTEC) Hyperstation Web Server Systems and sparcplug PC Intranet systems are available.
In a press release Wednesday, Ross Technology said these desktop servers are comptible with both SunOS and Solaris Operating Systems, and maintain full Sun SPARC Compatibility.
The company said the Hyperstation Web Server Systems, Configured with a single 200-megahertz hypersparc central processing unit, or a single 125-MHz hypersparc CPU, have list prices of $23,950 and $14,650, respectively.
The Sparcplug PC Systems are configured with a single or dual 100MHz or 125MHz processor or a single 150MHz Hypersparc CPU. A Sparcplug PC system combining a 100-MHz SPARCplug and a 200 MHz Pentium Pro PC has a manufacturer suggested retail price of $6619.
NASDAQ Traded Ross Technology was trading was trading at 3 3/8 up 1/4 or 8% on composite volume of 2,500 shares. Average Daily Volume is 151,615 shares
