Best way is to hit Herb at Fortune, at SF Chronical and at SEC. Tell his employers you won't read or subscribe to their publications any more and give them your reasons. Do nothing to help him get publicity for his column.

Believe me, this is not the kind of attention any employer wants. Fortune told me they would circulate my comments to their staff.
