I listened to the call and that's not at all what I heard. They actually emphasized that they would remain "agnostic" when it comes to supporting enabling technologies, i.e., they will support everything that has any kind of a significant user base. They simply threw up planned support for Media Player 4.0 when pressed to explain what they are doing to cash in on the current streaming media craze.
