OT I need to start learning about how to not get killed on taxes. I just finished a long talk with my CPA (as I picked up the tax papers). I owed a lot, even though I've sent in a lot, and barely avoided penalties for underestimating. He said that half or more of his clients work up elaborate schemes to avoid taxes. The problem is they kill their returns and the net result is I get more spendable money in the end by maximizing returns and just paying the tax (Although I do try for capital gains over regular income ). TP
