The near term move is about the fact that Ampex is establishing a global Internet TV network, and about the fact that they are hiring some very, very good people that are capable of doing exactly that. The hiring yesterday and the announcement of their intentions opened some eyebrows around the country, and people are sitting up and taking notice (and buying stock). Rip Van AMPEX is awake! Carl
