FREE 56K LUCENT (NYSE:LU) MODEMS WITH THE PURCHASE OF ITS TOTALFAX
SOFTWARE.
The TotalFax, Lucent modem bundle is currently being offered in a
promotion with Staples (Nasdaq:SPLS), the largest operator of office
superstores in the world, and CompUSA (NYSE:CPU), one of the nation's
leading retailers and resellers of personal computers and related
products and services.
The give-away promotion calls for Staples and CompUSA to sell
specially packaged TotalFax software through shelf space in 850 of
Staples superstores and more than 200 of CompUSA stores located
throughout North America. With each purchase of the TotalFax software,
Staples and CompUSA customers will receive a free 56K Lucent modem
bundled inside the TotalFax software box.
According to Mark Tippets, Intelliquis vice president of sales,
the modem promotion provides value and benefit to Staples and CompUSA
customers.
"On its own, TotalFax offers users the benefit of a powerful
faxing solution. With the addition of a free 56K modem from Lucent,
Staples and CompUSA customers will be very pleased with the value of
this promotion. In addition, Intelliquis anticipates TotalFax will
gain greater market presence and a larger user base in the industry."
