Paul, I was just looking at PCTV again and it seems to me that an eighth dollar offer of cash makes the current ask of 7 3/8 look pretty reasonable.

So why should there be an eighth half percent spread on cash deal? Does the market think PCTV will reject the bid? Do they think the deal will take too long to close? 8 1/2 percent over four months is a great return.

This certainly looks like a safe bet. What am I missing?

Regards, Mark

PS Here the last two paragraphs from the Sprint/PCTV announcement.

The People's Choice acquisition is expected to close within four months and is subject shareholder and government regulatory approval.

People's Choice also adopted a shareholder rights plan which would be triggered under certain circumstances if any party, other than Sprint, tried to acquire more than 15 percent of the company.
