apparently if you're not a member, access is
only provided to last year's abstracts.

But as with other meetings, companies do seem
to issue PR for the rest of us...looks like
so far today LGND and IMCL have put out some
PR, spun out of their aacr presentations. Of
course, you are looking to get the jump on
any PR...yes, I am trying to figure out how
to do that too. The tricky thing...suppose one
which I own, ONXX, get's a pop of one of these
meetings, why would I dare sell, I didn't buy
the thing for a quick 25% gain--you get in to
these because some will pay huge over the next
decade.

So all you can really do is continue to learn
about the sector, maybe refine your shopping list,
and invest wiser each time. I am just now coming
to terms with the investing versus trading thing...
my solution is to just play the trading game with
about ten grand...and let other 4/5ths just sits
invested.

Right now I've got short term money (trading money)
in MAGN, presents tommorrow, hope I see a bounce.
(The rest of my so-called trading money is in stuff
not cancer related, waiting for news--but not associated
with the aacr or asco meetings.)

This might not be a bad way to play, although I know
some people take their whole account and chase one
idea...but seems terribly risky.
